The whole-house Christmas lights package

This is the one most families pick. We light the roofline, wrap the trees, light the shrubs, set a timer, fix anything that goes dark, and take it all down in January. You do not buy lights, climb a ladder, or find room in the garage for a tub of tangled strands. Text us one photo of your house to start.

Craftsman house at night with lit gables and stake lights lining the driveway

Everything a lit house needs, in one plan

A lot of people call us after trying to piece it together themselves. They bought roofline lights one year, tree wraps the next, a few net lights for the bushes, and now there are four boxes of mismatched strands in the attic and a timer that nobody can find. The whole-house package is the fix for that.

Here is what a package covers:

  • Roofline. Measured LED strands along the gutters and gables, held with gutter clips and shingle clips.
  • Trees. Trunk wraps, and branch lighting if you want it, held with tension wraps.
  • Shrubs. Net lights or woven strands on the bushes you can see from the street.
  • Timer. Set at install so everything comes on at dusk and goes off at night.
  • Service calls. If a section goes dark, you text us a photo and it goes on the next route.
  • January takedown. We take it all down, coil and label the strands, and store them until next season.

The lights are commercial-grade LED strands we supply, cut to your measured runs. Nothing gets stapled, nailed, or screwed into your house or your trees.

We do not post prices, because a package on a one-story ranch in Smyrna and one on a tall brick two-story with big oaks in Johns Creek are different jobs. The quote is free, written, and itemized. Each piece is its own line, so if you want to drop the branch lighting or add a wreath, you can see exactly what changes.

  • One quote, every piece listed

Roofline, trees, and shrubs each get their own line. Add or trim anything before you book.

  • Nothing to buy or store

We supply the lights, take them back in January, and store them until next season.

  • Fixes are included

Dark section in December? Text a photo. It goes on the next route. No extra call to arrange.

  • Up in a day, down in January

Most homes are lit in one visit. The takedown gets scheduled for January so the lights come down on time.

Here is what happens, start to finish

Here is what happens, start to finish

  1. You text a photo of the front of the house and your address.
  2. We send a quote, free and itemized, usually with a question or two about trees or outlets.
  3. You pick a date in the install season.
  4. Install day. We measure, cut, clip, wrap, test from the street, and set the timer.
  5. December. If anything goes dark, text a photo and it goes on the next route.
  6. January. We take it all down, coil and label everything, and store it if you want.

That is the whole thing. Your part is the first text and choosing a date.

The yard is half the picture

The yard is half the picture

A lit roofline over a dark yard can look like the house is floating. That is why the package includes the ground level too. Lit shrubs along the front and the edge of the driveway pull the eye down and make the whole property look finished.

If you have more yard than roof, say a wide front lawn with a couple of big trees, we lean the design toward tree and shrub wrapping. If the house is the star, we put more into the roofline.

Service calls, the easy way

Service calls, the easy way

Lights live outside for six weeks or more, through rain, wind, and the occasional squirrel. Sometimes a bulb loosens or a section goes dark. With the package, you do not diagnose anything. Take a photo of the dark part, text it to us, and it goes on the next route.

We fix it at the clip, check the rest of the run while we are there, and head out. No ladder in your garage, no trip to the hardware store for a mystery replacement bulb.

January takedown and storage

January takedown and storage

After the holidays we come back, unclip everything from the roof, unwrap the trees, lift the nets off the shrubs, and pull the timer. Strands get coiled and labeled by section so next year's install goes faster.

We offer storage until next season, so nothing ends up in your garage or attic. Our takedown and storage page has more on how that works.

Who the package is built for

Who the package is built for

Families who want the house lit for the kids without giving up a weekend. First-time buyers who have never had lights professionally hung and want it simple. Anyone in a subdivision in Cumming, Dunwoody, Gwinnett County, or Cobb County who is tired of being the only dark house on the cul-de-sac.

If you want an idea of what to expect before booking, read what a professional install includes. Running a shop or on an HOA board too? See small business lights and HOA entrances.

Whole-house package questions

The things parents and first-time buyers ask us most.

What exactly is included in a whole-house package?

The roofline, the trees you want wrapped, the shrubs you want lit, a timer set at install, in-season service calls if anything goes dark, and January takedown. The lights are ours, cut to your house, and we store them until next season. Anything extra, like a wreath or column wraps, shows as its own line on the quote.

How is the package priced?

By your house, not by a menu. We look at roofline footage, how tall the house is, how steep the roof is, how many trees and how tall, how many shrubs, and how dense you want the lights. Specialty pieces like wreaths or icicle strands add to it. The quote is free and itemized so every piece is visible.

Do I have to be home on install day?

Usually not. As long as we can reach an outdoor outlet and can get through the side gate if we need the yard, we can do the job and text you when it is done. Many busy parents like it that way: leave for work, come home to a lit house.

Can I change the design next year?

Yes. Tell us before the season and we will re-quote. If we are storing your lights, anything that carries over from last year is already labeled for your house, which makes a small change easy.

When should I book?

Install season runs from late October to about mid-December, and the earlier dates fill first. If you care about having lights up before Thanksgiving, text us in September or October. Our install day checklist walks through what to have ready.

Text us one photo. We handle the rest.
