Terms of Service
Effective date: September 23, 2026
These terms cover how Christmas Lights for Atlanta (“we,” “us”) works with you and how you may use christmaslightsforatlanta.com. When you approve a quote or book an install, you are agreeing to them. We have tried to keep them readable.
What we do
We hang holiday lights on homes, subdivision entrances, and small businesses in metro Atlanta. That can include rooflines, trees, shrubs, wreaths, garland, storefronts, and permanent roofline lighting. What we do for you specifically is whatever your written quote lists.
Your quote is the agreement
Anything we say before we have seen your house, whether by phone or text, is a rough idea and not a promise. Your written quote is what counts. It lists each piece of the job separately. If you ask for more after we start (another tree, a second roofline), we will tell you what that adds before we do it.
Scheduling
Seasonal installs run from late October to about mid-December, and dates go in the order people book. Rain, strong wind, or ice can push an install back, because nobody should be on a wet or icy roof. If that happens, we move you to the next date we can safely make and let you know.
Getting to your house
Please make sure we can reach the areas on the quote and the outlets we will plug into. Tell us ahead of time about anything we should know: loose or damaged gutters, a soft spot on the roof, a locked gate, a dog in the yard. If we find a problem that makes part of the job unsafe, we will stop that part and talk it through with you.
How the lights go on
Seasonal strands are attached with shingle clips, gutter clips, and tension wraps. We do not staple, nail, or screw them into your house. Permanent lighting is a different kind of project and is described separately in its own quote.
During the season
If a section goes dark, text us a photo and we will add you to our next route. Please do not climb up to adjust anything yourself, and please do not add your own strands or extension cords to our setup. If something was changed by someone else, or damaged by storms, animals, or accidents, fixing it may be quoted separately.
Takedown and storage
We take seasonal lights down in January, coil and label each strand, and keep them in storage with us until next season. That is how every seasonal install works unless we agree on something different, and any different arrangement is written on your quote. Who owns the lights is stated on your quote too.
Payment
When payment is due, and whether any deposit applies, is written on your quote. Please read it before you approve.
Canceling or changing a date
You can cancel or move your install by contacting us before the install date. If we have already cut strands to fit your house, we may charge for those materials, and we will tell you that before you confirm.
Limits on our responsibility
To the extent Georgia law allows, our responsibility for any claim connected to our work is limited to what you paid us for that work. Nothing here limits anything the law does not allow to be limited.
